Located in a quiet pedestrian area in the historical center of Ferrara, the Ripagrande hotel is housed in a beautiful XV century palace with ancient columns, arches, marbles and tapestries, a former residence of Counts Beccari-Freguglia. The hotel was opened in 1980 and completely renovated in 2000.
The hall is certainly the masterpiece of the hotel. There are engraved columns and shelves, small-size statues and fragments of frescos, pieces of majolica-stoves and a beautiful iron-safe. The main structure of the beams is the original one. All the historical objects have been found during the renovation.
Guests will dine in an elegant restaurant. Two magnificent inner Renaissance courtyards gives chance to relax or have a meal in good weather.
