Situated in the heart of Florence, close to Piazza Santa Maria Novella, the Exhibition and Congress Centre of the city and the most important tourist attractions (the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizzi gallery and the Academy of Fine Arts where Michelaneglo's David can be found), the hotel is an ex Franciscan convent dating back to the 15th Century which has been restored to its unique splendour. Throughout the hotel the classic ceilings, cross vaults, stone arches and pillars add to it’s character. The style and charm of the public areas combine perfectly with the elegant and modern rooms, of which the majority face the patio and internal garden.

The hotel features 69 rooms, divided into Classic, Superior, Junior Suites and Suites; some of which have a private terrace or balcony. All the rooms are quiet and extremely comfortable with air conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, mini bar, radio and trouser press. No smoking rooms are available on request. The elegant marble bathrooms have telephone, hairdryer and heated towel rail.
