The Piazza Risorgimento Hotel in the 20th century it was the first grand hotel in Lecce as well as the center of all political and cultural activities in town. Formerly a 1574 inn, it was transformed into a boarding house in the last century. In 1977 the building was restored to its ancient splendor. The hotel offers 57 guest rooms equipped with a satellite TV, telephone, air - conditioning, hair dryer, mini bar, and PC modem connection. Amenities available to guests include a bar, safe, fitness room, sauna, and fax service. The hotel has access for the disabled.
