One of the oldest hotels in Naples, opened in 1890, the family run Nuovo Rebecchino hotel takes its name from "Rebecca": a musical instrument of Arabian origin, played by young 14th century minstrels to entertain guests staying at inns. The hotel has been mentioned by famous writers and painters like Raffaele Viviani, a famous Neapolitan writer, who remembers the inn in his novel as "always full of life".

It is located in the vicinity of Porta Capuana and Porta Nolana, just a few minute walk to the churches and museums of the historical center of Naples, which has recently become a UNESCO world heritage site.
The Circumvesuviana railway station is just a few steps away. Here you can take a train to the ancient cities or Pompeii and Herculaneum and then travel to the top of Vesuvius.
