Surrounded by pure nature and overlooking the Tiberina Valley, the Relais Palazzo di Luglio is a quiet residence where guests can fully experience the region's unique flavor. It is made up of one main building and three annexes, making it an ideal place to enjoy the landscape, art, history, and gastronomy of the Tiberina Valley.
The Palazzo di Luglio offers 8 very comfortable suites where elegant and sophisticated furniture gives each room a unique style that perfectly matches with the sobriety of the eighteenth century. Each suite features a double bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom with a shower. Room facilities include a safe deposit box, satellite TV, mini-bar, and telephone.
The hotel restaurant offers the best of the region's specialties: white truffles, home made pasta with "porcini" and "ovoli" mushrooms, Florentine steak, pork, and many kind of home made cakes and cookies. Worth of mentioning is the fact that the extra virgin oil used to dress the food is made by the hotel's own oil mill, which opens its doors from November to December to visitors who want to witness the cold working of the olives. Finally, a well supplied wine shop invites guests to taste very good wines and Tuscan canapés as well as an assorted selection of cold pork meats, local cheese, and much more.
Guests may enjoy their leisure time at the hotel's swimming pool or at the terrace, an ideal place to relax under the sun. Other activities available in the surroundings include fishing and surfing in the artificial Lake Montedoglio and golf in the nine-hole Castello di Antognolla Golf Club. There are also many beautiful paths nearby, ideal to take walks and mountain bike tours around the Tuscan hills.
