Concordia Hotel Venice The Concordia Introduction: Located just at the corner of the St Mark square, the Concordia hotel is housed in a historic 17th century house completely renovated in 1999. Prices

City tax:
Starting from the 24th August 2011, the Municipality of Venice has established the Tourist Tax (or City tax) with City Council Resolution n. 83 of the 23rd and 24th of August 2011.

This tax is not included in our prices as well as in those ones agreed with agencies or tourist operators

co-operating with us.

It must be settled directly by clients on departure.

The Tax in a four star hotel in the historical centre like ours, will be 4 euro per person and per day until a maximum of five consecutive nights.

Children are free of charge until 10 years (exactly until 9 years and 364 days) and get a 50% reduction from 10 until 16 years (exactly until 15 years and 364 days).


Clients coming to Venice for aftercare or to nurse patients in venetian hospitals as well as members of the police forces, of the national fire service etc. staying for service reasons are also free of charge.


Should we accord a complimentary stay as well as in the case of a promotion the city tax must be always settled by the client for all the nights of his stay until a maximum of 5 nights.


A 50% reduction is foreseen in the periods of low season decided by the Municipality (different from those agreed with agencies or tourist operators co-operating with us.).

For Venice Municipality the periods of High Season are the following ones:



- From the 1st of January to the first Sunday after January 6th .



- The period of Venice Carnival



- The period going from Wednesday before Easter until Tuesday after Easter included



- From April 1st to October 31st included



- The week including December 8th (from Monday until Sunday included)



- From December 23rd to December 31st included



Periods of High Season 2011 are consequently



- From August 24th to October 31st 2011 incl.



- From December 5th to December 11th 2011 incl.



- From December 23rd to December 31st 2011 incl.




Periods of High Season 2012 are consequently



- From January 1st to January 8th 2012 incl.



- From February 4th to February 22nd 2012 incl.



- From April 1st to October 31st 2012 incl.



- From December 3rd to December 9th 2012 incl.



- From December 23rd to December 31st 2012 incl.



All the other periods are consequently considered by the Municipality as periods of Low Season.

Please note that a client who has arrived before the 24th August and leaves after this date will pay the city tax starting from the 24th (night between the 24th and the 25th August).


A child who has the birthday during the stay will change the category and will pay for the new category since that moment.

Cancellation Policy:

You can cancel this reservation at no charge 5 days after the date of this mail. After that there is a USD 10.00 charge to cancel the reservation. However if you cancel the reservation later then 3 days before arrival (deadline) you will be charged additionally for the first day of your stay at the hotel.
